How do I schedule meetings

What is the networking tool?

We use the networking tool Conversation Starter. After claiming your ticket, we will provide a link to easily create a profile on the tool. This is essential to browse the attendees and pre-schedule one-on-one meetings (depending on your ticket type). A week before the event you will be notified when you can start to browse attendees and book meetings. The tool will suggest ideal meeting times, keeps your schedule organised and notifies at which numbered meeting point you can hook up with your contact. We provide dozens of spacious rooms to meet discretely, in all comfort.

How & when can I schedule meetings?

Registered ticketholders will be invited via e-mail (check your spam) to create a networking profile on Conversation Starter, the only way to preschedule meetings at The Big Score. You will only get access with the e-mail address used to register as an attendee when you claimed your ticket.

It takes 5 minutes to create your profile. In addition you can also set your availabilities and if you don’t want to meet during The Big Score you can also exchange contact information to reconnect after the event.

A week in advance we will open the networking tool for you to browse participants and start pre-scheduling meetings. You will be notified via e-mail when this happens. Please respect your engagements and our event timing.

I'm a pitching company, what do I need to do?

How do I provide all company input?

As a pitching start/scale-up at The Big Score 2023 we kindly ask you to provide us with company info and growth facts. This information will be published in The Big Score Booklet and will be distributed to attending VCs and corporates. We have 100 companies, please respect our deadlines. Of course, you choose which info you share published or during the one-on-ones, but note this booklet is used as an essential reference during the event. Via the following link you can access the portal: https://www.thebigscore.eu/portal/start

To prepare you can download the questionnaire here

Please make sure to fill in the portal before September 16.

Your live event pitch deck will be asked separately via email, end of October. All scale-ups will get 7 minutes to pitch their solution & ambition, so make sure to fit your presentation accordingly. The audience is composed of 60% investors/VCs (who focus on traction, financials and growth facts and if possible info on the next funding round in terms of size and timing) and 40% corporates (who like to understand your solution and references/use cases). Remember that during the prescheduled one-on-ones you can disclose more confidential information & details in full discretion.

For questions on the above, please contact Amaury Casteleyn.
