Our first session focuses on Digital Health. The past year it became once again clear that innovation in health and wellbeing is essential. Together with our Session partner Ethias we invite 8 startups active in the industry to pitch their solutions live on stage and receive valuable business feedback from an expert panel of investors, corporates innovators and though leaders.
Challenges
The pitching startups will have to tackle the following challenges curated by Ethias.
Reintegration after leave/incapacity
It is estimated that in 2019, long-term incapacity has tripled, while short-term incapacity has almost doubled since 2007. Ethias wishes to find a solution to the problem of reintegration after a period of short or long term disability. For the employer, it is a question of offering a tailor-made prevention and support service to employees in order to reduce the number of work-related in capacities and optimize reintegration after incapacity.
Reorientation
Today, many people are dissatisfied with their professional situation (frustration at not being able to contribute to the development of their company, to use their skills and knowledge or simply to see their efforts recognized, ...). Ethias wishes to find a solution that can respond to the problem of reorientation. For the employer, the aim is to offer employees a career support service in order to best meet the new professional expectations of their employees.
